Matthew Krishanu's practice is based in painting and drawing. The works are often of people in interiors, painted from life, in the sitter's own environment. He is interested in memory and narrative. Matthew's collaborative projects have explored personal narratives and memory in relation to three main themes - remembering a significant person (Mile End Ancestors), object (The Mausoleum of Lost Objects), and event (School Interiors). |
